Being a proud mom...I was amazed when I saw little Joo manage to draw this all by herself... I was in the kitchen and she was in the living room...I heard her saying....eyes...eyes..nose...mouth...legs.... and to my surprise..this is her drawings at 2 and half years old!
Mommy can't even draw stick people at the age of 6!

The messy spot on top of the head is the hair..mommy ask why the hair so messy..she said " he do not have comb"..i was speechless

On the other hand...perhaps too much cartoon...

I am combining edible plants and decoration plants in my landscape...
but then...the edible plants turn out small and skinny ...
or with flowers but no vege... how??
anyone can help me?
I put in fertilizer every week and stop recently as one of my flowers plant started to show too 'salty' sign (it turned dark brown)..and it is my lovely gerbera!! Any advise from the experts out there?

**Also, thank you to my dear hubby helping me water the plants almost daily..ehhehe

After MIA for some time again....I found some time to update my blog..
Well...what I can say is luck is not on my side recently...i was down and admitted to the hospital for dengue fever while in a midst of moving house...then on my first day to work i chopped off a piece of meat on my finger early in the morning and not able to stop the blood...i drove all the way to the clinic near my office using all the possible TOL road ( I thought I could bypass the jam) but ended up stucked in the slowest lanes...took more time to reach the destination ...with my finger still bleeding which I wrapped in a towel and driving a Manual Car.... i reached the clinic 1 hour later...and the gentleman doc stopped my bleeding without much pain...*phew!*

Argh...I wish and pray good luck have arrive...

Anyway...back to my beloved sweetie gal gal...she is 2 years plus now... getting naughty, active, likes to sing and make own songs... angel and devil at the same time.... The apple of our eyes..

Phuket Part 2

Well, kiasu us...went out for a Day trip out the boat to Phi Phi Island and Khai Island. We believe we got a good deal on our first day at Patong by getting us approx Rm 120 /130 per person for this Day Trip. Lunch and drinks are inclusive.

It was really worth it and we really enjoy the beautiful scenary, beaches, people, snokerling, boat ride, etc...Not to mention being at the place Leonardo Dicaprio have been for the setting of Beach. Also, a glimpse of where one of the place in James Bond Movie (as informed by tour guard)

First, Maya Bay, where The Beach was shot, then snokerling at another side of Phi Phi Island, Lunch at Phi Phi Town, get close and personal with Wild Monkeys, and Snokerling at Khai Island.

Snack Bar? Perhaps this is where Leonardo had his snack...

In Maya Bay...Leonardo...heeehhe..I really love the plant! look special..and if not mistaken can be seen in The Beach movie? This one of the place where James Bond movie was shot (not Phang Nga though)

Phuket - Part 1

Well, daddy and mommy took time off to 'celebrate' our birthday to fly off to Phuket for a short 3 days 2 nights trip..

Initially we planned to have a relaxing trip, but as usual we end up being kiasu to try to visit whereever possible areas we can while we are there! ahahaha.. It have been some time since our trip..

Overall, it is about food, food, food, walking, plenty of walking, and venture to the island! Yippie..

** Note: the pics here are not organise by sequence...when upload time need to break to two times, then it will append on top instead of bottom! ** grr

Our second lunch on first day of arrival!..missing in the photo is the fried seafood 'mee'.. See the veges on the tables? There are plenty of these raw veges which I notice locals will just eat it raw together with their main course - eg: just a bowl of plain mee and few bite of veges! The 2 cups is for our bottled coke which cost approx. RM 2 per bottle. On the right is the commonly found 'meat sticks' with chilli source.. we ate plenty of these on our first day! haha..cost around RM 1+ each..strange taste as I couldn't figure out what makes up the meat..but some if good. The seafood mee is sweet...but I love Thai's mee texture .it is 'kenyal'.. approx. RM 5 for one plate. Overall, tried twice fried mee/meehoon there, both are a little too sweet...
Oh ya! This is the fried seafood mee which I mentioned above! Nice texture but a little too sweet..and the meaty stick..

First day dinner - from left, mango salad approx RM 5/8 forgot (fuh! super spicy that we cannot finish it. Combination of mango, peanuts, onions, red hot pepper -cili padi, lime and some other raw veges), meaty sticks again, fried meehoon approx Rm 1 (a little too sweet!), roasted chicken with chili sauce approx RM 3 ?(it looks spicy but end up sweet again)... and of course, alchoholic drinks..heehehhe
Our 2nd nite heartful dinner, enough to serve 4 people! This stall is just located at the street in front of our hotel. There are plenty of seafood stalls on this street. We had lala (taste a bit special with some herbs taste), seafood tom yam, fried pineapple rice, fried mee (i think like kuay teow), fried squid. It costs us approx RM 80! And we can hardly walk after that!..

This is where we had our food...Patong Street.. really happening place with food, crafts, clothes, bags, plenty of 'massage' centers and pubs, restaurants....etc. We had a hard time to look for our Thai massage. After plenty of walking, we finally ended up at a Massage Place located strategically at a open area and next to the busy T-junction. It cost approx RM 20 for 1 hour of Thai massage per person... hmmm... :)

These can be found easily too, we bought the one on top for approx RM 3. It taste like tasteless thick appam with hotdog (but no taste) in it..hmm..not recommended.
Anyone dare to try?
Meat Sticks

What I can say... Phuket is convenient especially if you stay at Patong like we did. Plenty of night life, people are very very friendly, polite and soft spoken, transportations are easy. When the Thai ladies speak, it melts my heart..ehhehe..their tourism is widely promoted thus, you can find almost everything there.

Food wise, I still prefer the Thai food in Malaysia..more spicy and less sugar..:)

I am amazed!! I wanted to write this for quite some time but couldn't find the time to do so..

BRAVO to Malaysia Nature Society!!
My earlier post on the bird... I was looking high and low to find out what bird that was standing in front of my bedroom window for more than half an hour! through the Internet..Books..

I came across the MNS website and immediately tried my luck by writing to them with the photos attached in the midnite.. To my surprise and excitement, they replied early in the morning the next day with the answer!

It is crested goshawk.. a common raptor found in Malaysia.!! but to me..it is certainly not common, especially having so near and clear view with some interaction with the raptor rite in front of my bedroom. :)

It is special indeed... u know why ?

I have never seen any birds in front of my window at those trees throughout my years of stay
Lil Jo have been shouting 'bird bird' when I did not believe her and brought her out to play in the living room for almost half an hour
Lil Jo shouted bird bird and view the window when she is back in the room
I finally believe her when I see for myself the bird is bearly 3 feet away
Lil Jo and I was making so much noise and the bird just look at us from time to time
It was not until few minutes later I remembered my camera and took pictures of the raptor from different angle..and even flash!
It just continue to stand there...with occasionally turning the face to look at us ..for almost 10 minutes
It was my father-in-law birthday. He passed away one month before Lil Jo was born..

So far I suspect it is call EAGLE OWL or Hawk Owl...but the mouth look too pointed and it don't have the 'horn-like' feathers on the side of the head.. then I saw in Birds guide...it also look like hawk - Red Kite (Milvus milvus) or Merlin (Falco columbarius)

Many faces of little one...at one years old (plus) as a toddler.....

What I can say..ahem..she grew up into a beautiful little girl..ehehe

She developed a cute habit where she made friends with her teddy toys.. inviting them (every single one of them!) to see things that she think special like the aquarium, lights, etc. She will say "See See!" and start to bring every single one of them to the place and say "See See". Although no more place, she will place them on a chair and push the chair to the place..hehe

But of course, despite all the cuteness...at times she can really get on to my nerves...grrrrrrrrrr..

Hello Kitty Kancil

Greedy for free food..namely Durian, I went with my parents to the free durian Merdeka celebration in their housing area organized by UMNO..yup..previously the controversial cabin located at the children's playground... now they are offering free food. What to say, the cabin is relocated to the other end of the playground and the poles of flags are still there after all the controversial. Anyway, for free food, ppl give in and come to eat..hahahha :P

Surprisingly they invited Kelab Kancil members and there were so many Kancils (modified) around. On my way rushing back after the durian feast ... I pass by a so nice "Hello Kitty" Kancil! It is white Kancil with big Hello Kitty (pink outline) on the back door. Nice interior with white leather seats and pink lining..and of course Hello Kitty assecesories! Very interesting and nice indeed!

But too bad, did not stop down to take photos as I was carrying little jo, it was raining and my body and hair dirty with mud (kena splash by some children with dirty slippers while walking on muddy ground) :P.

Really hope to see the car again..

One thing good about my company is they organize occasional Lunch Talks.. Yup...I get to eat for free and learn new thing that interest me. :)

Today's session lunch talk was the best after I have attended few so far. ehhehe.. Free Food, Free Gift (Flowers are grab after the session with the rest of the kiasu Malaysian women..ehhe) , great speaker, new ideas , ..... Yup >> Flower Arrangement Session!

Happy Father's Day!

Well...I guess lil' one's father is putting more effort for this father's day! hehe..

We spent the day bringing little one to the seaside! Yup, our so-called Gold Coast - Bagan Lalang with brown sea water! ahaha..anyway, it was great! Great day -though we reached at around 10.30 am, it rained awhile and stop with a nice cold breeze and cool weather even when we are at the beach up until noon! Lil jo was hesitate at first, but soon, she want to rush out to the water!
Saw families camping by the beach..it was so much fun! Anyone 'IN' with the idea of camping by the beach? :)

Not to forget lil' one daddy got a small treat of lunch by mommy the day before. Mommy prepared the simple spicy tomato spagetti sauce pasta and handmake dim sum while caring for lil' one all by herself! hahaha..i am so proud of myself able to achieve this task while caring for the honey bunny. (I never say I make a good housewife ye! ) Really sallute to those mommy full time caring for their child and manage to cook and do all the household chores all by herself!

And for my dad.. dinner treat at Chung Hua restaurant in Puchong. Food was great..but we waited for one whole hour for the food to arrive!!

My Girl's Lesson

My cutie hunny bunny sweetie pie will be attending her 2nd class of Musicgarten today. I am really looking forward for it! ahha..seems like mommy more excited that lil' one! ahha..

What to say, I felt how a mom felt on their children first day of class... How would it be like? Would she be able to cope? Would she create havoc? Would she have fun? Can she follow? So many things like keep coming into my mine before her first lesson!

I can't sleep well after the first trial class! ahah.. my head keep playing the same song over and over again.. I was so anxious..I was scared too! can I be able to bring her to the class all by myself? .....

Well, unexpectedly, the first class went on well and mommy enjoyed! ahhaha..so much that the stiffness of my shoulders were lifted off just like that after the class! mommy enjoyed! for little one..well....she made a frend...and was so tired end of the class that she directly doze off when I put her in the car seat!..ehhe

But I guess she enjoyed too seeing her smiling at the classes and laughing out loud when I sing a song from the class to her... :) hope today will be all well... :)

Lust vs Need

Anyone wanna buy a well maintained Nissan Sunny 130Y year 1982?

One part I felt heavy hearted to sell off the so well maintained car. Is there a need to? It can still bring us anywhere and stuck in jam for hours in a day with no problem (except the air cond won't work well in hot weather..pity my dear who drive it daily to work... muack muack). That so well car now worth i guess...less than 3k? or much lesser. Is it really worth to abondon a transport that can actually fulfill what we need daily?

But we can hardly see ppl especially younger working class ppl driving an old car! Everyone is driving better off cars. Our friends are driving better cars. College students are driving better cars... our juniors are driving better cars.. so, do we need a better car? My hubby have a conversation with an old friend recently, and he mentioned who want to look into local cars?! Foreign car baru got class...Well, our poor old Nissan Sunny is not even in that range of local cars in terms of class...

I have to admit, at times while driving the car, I feel a bit shameful in an old car.. But even Warren Buffett is maintaining low profile despite being a billionaire!

It is a lust or a need? I wonder... but my darling hubby took the car and drive it daily to his work. He told me as a man, he need to take care of me and can't bare me driving the old car daily. Sob Sob.. I am so touch... and Needs come in (plus Lust too).. perhaps I should get a better car soon. I on the other hand can't bare to see my hubby stuck in jam in the hot weather as he travels more frequent and further compare to me..

So ..anyone interest to buy an old well maintained Nissan Sunny 130Y? .......

I have to say...I love this movie! It gives us hope..telling us not to stop, not to despair no matter what happens...for our dreams...our happiness..

It tells me great things can happen no matter how bad you are now.

It tells me that there are a lot more ppl worse, and they move on..and perhaps to a much greater heights!

and ...it tells me...to invest in stock market! Or perhaps become an Intern.. :) ahha.. but I pray hard that I wouldn't end up sleeping in the toilet with lil' jo one day ..

Highly recommended.

I actually 'googled' Chris Gardner and found some not so nice story about him comparing to the movie. But anyway, the toilet part is real. And no matter what, it takes great persistent and great strategy to come out with that million dollar!

Recently prior to CNY, our department had a CNY celebration.. it was great with good food and guess what?! I finally won something from a Lucky Draw!!! I took the 4th prize which is a Panasonic Cordless Phone!! What a start for the new year! Yippie!

I have never got a thing back then..and my boss even kesian me specially dig another prize and make a special draw for me...and guess what? I recently have an argument with my brother as he refused to let both the doggies to be out of the house. Yup, all these while lil' one have been staying at my mom house (weekdays) with 2 dogs in the house and a cat.. well, the cat is in the cage though, but will come out for a short walk at night when my b ro comes back from work.

Both me and my mom have been having recurring rounds of coughs and my mom's personal doctor suggested to put the 2 dogs outdoor. My bro as usual was so frustrated and furious about this like taking his own life away. From my opinion, what is the harm of putting the dogs outdoor more often? besides they shed a lot and the fur is all over the house. Of course those fur will anyhow affect our respitory system. More ever, almost all of my friends who have babies ban their child from being near a pet. Both me and hubby are a bit concerns about the dogs' fur to our lil' one too...but still, lil' one is in a good care from my parents, thus, we ignore the concern. But of course, precautions have been taken all these while, like not letting little one sit on the floor, not letting the dogs too near lil one, faster wash lil one hands if she touch them.. touch wood, so far so good

But, to my surprise.. I tried to search in the Internet for the effect of pets to babies. And really surprised me is that i found NO (yes.. NONE!) articles or parenting websites stating bad effect of pets to babies. There is a note though about Cat's poo is very toxin, thus please wash your hand clean with soap after you handle cat's poo.
And, to my surprise again, having 2 pets or more are found to decrease a child's allergy risk!!

Yeah! I finally managed to upload photos! Thus I am writing this...back date back to January 7 2007

Our beloved precious is one year old!! time flies too fast! Well...little one suppose to turn ONE on 11th Jan (yeah..her lucky no 111) ..but we decided to have a little home party for her, thus, we make it earlier.

As SHE is the main person that night, mommy decided to invite her friends...too bad not many babies that I known off (Mr & Mrs Ha, Mrs Lam...faster la!! )..so I invited the hansam 'boy' friend and baby Jia Wei.. baby Masy and Yng Yng cannot make it.. :(

Its almost the end of January..and now only I am posting what I have done then!

Like any other 'youngster' I went to the happening place in KL, jamming and dancing around at the open air concert, drinking beer for the count down.. "WAH"...haha..my dream...NOT!

Okok..the real me.. hubby and I (and Little Jo !!) got together at Mr & Mrs Ha house in Setia Alam with a bunch of others close secondary school friends (for my hubby is his primary school friends..:) ). We did pot luck..I manage to grill chicken wings (which I damn too hard!! no wonder the chicken wings is so HUGE!)..lesson learnt.. never buy chicken wings that is BIG in size..no good being kiasu here.. so we ate our cookings..and drink home cooked soup..and Coke... hehehe..that is how we count down (anyway..went back at 10.30 as lil' one is around)..

New Year's Day

Yeah!!! Finally reality come true!! After so many rounds of flash cards of Animals category.. Lil Jo have her practical lessons today.. we went to Zoo Negara in Hulu Klang!

Wow..I always thought entrance fees to these places is only RM 3...but it was a huge surprise when my hubby told me RM 12 (or RM 15? lupa...) per adult after he paid.... fuh! But we reminded ourself to think how the little money we 'contributed' goes to those poor little animals....it is hard to maintain them you know.. those animals need fresh foods...and tons of meat..and medicines and care.. so we feel so much better.. :)

Back to lil' one.. she is so happy and excited..can say stunned..then "WOOOO"..she always do that these days... when she is curious.,excited or want us to look at something, she will make her mouth sharp sharp and say "WOOOOOoOO". But we found that she is like a bit slow in reaction...she will like look at the animals for one two minutes....then like when we wanna go off only she will smile out her two small teeth and move up and down.. hmm...or is she too busy processing the animals in her head?? hmmm..

Anyway..she got tired after 2 hours..and fell asleep in a second (yes! I mean it) after daddy hand her over to mommy... :)

Hello! Long time wanna update here..but don't have the chance..and have been quite sick lately..always down with sorethroat...bad flu..headache..and fever...or diarrhea... I suspect is the bad feng shui of my new place in the new company... or perhaps someone is cursing me.. hmmmpph.. :P

by the way..there is a wireless Netgear equipment just 1 meter from my seat... is it because of that??? Please..anyone with good info on the radiation caused by the "THING"...please forward to me...i wanna have it moved! argh..dunwan to die of cancer.. :(..sob sob

It was an eye opener for me about sharing of knowledge in this company... it is not about a system, but a journey... Fuh! kindda like art to me.. :)

I am blessed enough to be selected as one of the representative for my company for the Final competition in the recent Malaysia Emerging Knowledge Org award..yup.. my comp got into top 3 in this national event and that day was the day to compete with the other 2 to determine the ranking... 1, 2...3... I really feel fortunate and bless to be able to join the event (which I believe is too costly) though I am a newbie..

And my company emerge the top 2! Congratulations!

Recently attended MojoJOjo's baby boy's full moon party and a chance to meet up lil' jo baby jeje! She is just one week older then lil' one. Thought they will mix around cos ppl say babies love babies and can have babies talk! But I found out no..hmm..

Lil Jo is too busy at Busybody at adult talking, crawling and like dun even notice her frend there! HMPH!. when i put her near lil' Masy baby (Samantha), she either crawl the other way..or one time...RAMPAS lil' Masy's toy (tissue paper)...

At 9 Months old...lil' one got the chance to go overseas...mom and dad took almost 20 years for that... *poor thing*...*sob * *sob*

Initially I thought it would be sleepless nights and tiring trip due to lil' one unable to adjust to the long journey and environment.. but amazingly...lil' one was so well behaved and sleep almost throughout the 6 hours journey (except during our 2 times stop).. :).. She is just so charming that she treat my bro in law's house just like her own..ehhe..

Too bad she is just too small/young to be able to play with her cousin sister - Hui Yuan. Hui Yuan, my little niece is almost exactly one year older then lil' one...and I can say she is indeed very intelligent, bright and a good result from wonderful teaching from her mother's Shishida teaching.

Not reaching 2 years old, lil' Hui Yuan can speak well, have very powerful memory and she can even do puzzles and lego-like toys!!!! WOW.. moms out there...start your teaching now!

Training Venue Volunteer (Commonwealth Games KL'98)

Both were some events in my life that I would never forget for the rest of my life...precious memories...experience.

To have additional backup of both the experience...here I am..copying the exact wordings which I wrote 7/8 years back...

Training Venue Volunteer
Date: 28th August-15th September 1998
This was the most wonderful and memorable work in my life! I rarely willing to work so hard for something.. especially volunteering (OK, OK....I am not a Miss-Nice-Gal OK?), but it was something that really worth it. All the sweating....sunburn.... under the sun... carrying the big and heavy paddings... watching big hunks training.. hehehehehe...tiring but sweet! :)
Well, after going for the Volunteers' Orientation Training a few months before the Games, I was really looking forward to be selected as one of the volunteers. I was thinking... hmm... swimming...gymnastic... athletics... swimming .. and swimming.. .. At the end of July'98, I finally got the mail from SUKOM (the company in charge of the Games) !! Yippie!! But...huh?! Rugby? What?! I have no idea what is rugby at all then. All I know is the ball that looks like some Chinese dried fruit which I like to eat. YUM YUM.

Briefing... I was reluctant to go at first since I was the only one among my friends who got to be a rugby volunteer. But then.... for our country (cheh! hehehehe) I decided to skip my classes and go! I first went to the briefing in Kelana Jaya stadium. It was a shock to know that I were among the first batch to be selected (Oh! How special I am!!ehehhe..) and there was only 16 people and two girls including me! Mamamie-Aaaaa!
As Training Venue Volunteer...
After few days of briefing, we finally got our first mission! We were divided into groups as there were 4 different training venue. I was with 3 other guys to be responsible on the field in UPM (my university) in front of the Faculty of Human Ecology. Basically, our job was to prepare the field before teams arrive such as carrying the paddings and putting it on both sides of the goals (is it what you call it?), preparing the equipment needed for training, making sure there was sufficient ice, answering and listening to complaints and trying our best to providing the teams' needs. So, from 7.30 in the morning, we start to do our job until around 6.30 p.m. each day. We do have breaks in the middle when no teams are using our field.
Looking back in my little Volunteers Log Book, I include here my own personal record in the little book on the teams trained at my field.

Actually, there were a total of 18 teams. Some of them train in other fields.
My first day at the field was.. "WOW! This is not bad after all! heheheheheheeh!" GUYS! I was surrounded by guys!! Every team was very friendly and nice....including the New Zealand's All Black! Yup! There were a lot of fun watching them training in the field as I learn more about rugby...and guys (again!). Not all rugby players were big in size as I thought but hey! the smaller size can really run and squeeze among the other hunks. The team from Kenya and New Zealand were all big size indeed! Standing 160cm tall, I really fell like an ant when standing by their side.
I really had a great time watching them train, play around, taking photos with them!, talking with them and receiving souveniers!! I got badges from Canada, Kenya, South Africa and Caymen Island and a Kenya's Nike t-shirt!! The team from Kenya was really friendly as I have most of my chats with them.. and of course Canada.

The Canada team was very friendly and they even play netball as part of their training! They are the most interesting team. I still remember on that day when they were suppose to have a friendly match with the Kenya team. It rained very heavily that afternoon. We all have to stay in our small tent and the field was flooded! Yes..just like a big swimming pool. Despite being cold and wet, I really had a great laugh when the Canada's players went out to the field and slide around on their body on the flooded field! It was really fun.

I was very lucky as the world famous New Zealand team was scheduled to train in our field. They were such a famous celebrity! It was just like a concert every time they came to train. The used-to-be big empty field was crowded and surrounded with people and reporters. Though being in the center of attraction, the All Blacks players were very nice and gentlemen ..though they don't talk much. I was surprised as the king size world's most popular rugby player-Mr. Jonah Lomu was such gentleman and so soft spoken! I took some photos with him ..and one sitting on his lap! ehehhehe...dangerous!:)
The Games Begun....
Days after that, my duty was at the Kelana Jaya Stadium where the real rugby game began. For three days from 12th September to 14th September the whole stadium was in a big party mood!! YUP! PArtttttttttyyyy! The whole stadium was full house for the three days with people from around the world and some of them even dressed in costume! It was fun and everyone was so sporting and supportive. Spectators and fans cheered all the way throughout the games and they were so nice even to the teams that lost. The spirit is in one! And the spectators even did the Mexican wave (is it what you call it?) for a number of times though they are from different races and country. I really felt the friendliness and warmth being in the middle of the stadium.
Yes...my job then was with the International Broadcast Center where I have to take turns to take the microphone besides the field as the match was on. It was not a very interesting job.. but I got the first class seat! Even better than that! I was sitting besides the teams.. hehehehe.. Well, I watch most of the match especially the finals. The finals were the best as I was in the middle of the field as the New Zealand's All Black played their games and won. I was lucky enough to be able to witness and took photo of the All Blacks doing their famous dance as they celebrate their victory. Too bad as the photo is quite blur. I guess I got pushed around with the reporters.
I was sad as the game ended. No more meeting those guys... no more the noise and the cheering in the stadium.... Anyway, it was really a sweet memory and if got the chance, I hope to be involve in this kind of activities again. Congrats NADI, SUKOM and Malaysia for doing such a great job in the 16th Commonwealth Games!

One word for this.... I AM SOOOOOO LUCKY TO BE ALIVE!!! Oh, Ok... it is a sentence, not a word. Yup, after this camp, I am really glad that I have the opportunity to write to you today! But on the bright side, I HAVE DONE IT!! YES! I can finally give myself a thumbs up for this. Sometimes, I can never believe of what I have did! For 20 years of me... I have never been so adventurous and tough. I must admit that I am not the GI Jane type of girl. I really wonder what made me went there. But at least, when thinking back... I can see myself smiling of what I have did cherishing all the moments there.. At least I did something that I always think i can never do one month before my 21st birthday! But before I proceed.. I must thank all my group members especially the guys who really help me out a lot! and the navies too! I just love you all!!
Reaching there...
Well, we went off at 7.30am and reach the camp almost 2 hours late. After the tiring journey (it took us almost 5 hours to reach there!), I was so relieved to see such a wonderful and nice place it is. The camp is just beside to beach and across it is Pulau Pangkor! I was indeed glad to have the chance to see the sea which I love most. The camp is so big! almost like UPM (my uni) or bigger. As soon as we stop we were treated with delicious food. Yup... the food there is great! We were then brought to our hostel ( I thought we would camp at first). So...everything is not bad and I thought I will enjoy the visit to the camp. The low IQ me.. thought that I will be having light tours and visit around the camp for 4 days. And I was wrong!
After the navies divided us into four groups.. Alpha,Beta, Charlie and Delta (my group!)... The tense started. Our camp leader Puan Khatijah( ops...I forget how to address her- there are ranks in navy and they are address according to their rank) keeps on reminding us to sign a letter that we agree the navies will not be responsible if anything happen. This sure raises my heart beat. All the handphones have to be passed to her as well.. and there is not even a public phone there!
The Beginning Of....
Ok! The first activity soon after.. the exercise! Gosh! My heart dropped to the ground when we were instructed to do all the exercise using the facilities like you usually see in Tv! There were the river crossing using a wood trunk, climbing up walls using only one round wood trunk between the walls up to 12 feet high wall ( this is what I was shivering at... I really thought I would fall and break my leg..or die...), climbing up 6 feet and 12 feet walls without a thing, jumping down from a 12 feet wall to the ground , climbing under the wire with thorns and lots more! This was really shocking to me as all of it was so dangerous especially the climbing from one wall to another using one round trunk and then jumping from the wall to a higher wall until reach the 12 feet wall. My legs were shivering like mad and I was just thinking of jumping down there and suiside there and then. But thanks to my group mates..I managed to finish it all ...thanks pals! And the Richard even let us (me and my friends) step on him to get over to the 12 feet wall... So pity him... I know I weight a lot...hmmm...
After the tiring round of exercise.. we have to jogged our way back to hostel!! my legs hurt as there are some bruises and scars from the exercise earlier...but still if you don't jog, you will be left alone.. sniff sniff.. Things were even worst as the rain started to fall. From the starting of the rain... raining like cats and dogs...we only managed to reach to hostel as the rain stopped!! We were all wet and I can even squeeze a bucket of water from my clothes. SO miserable! And my legs... both dead of tireness.. Luckily, the night was better as there were only a seminar on the Navy Camp. And we were given our camp pack for the next day.
The Second Day..
We woke up at around 4 am. After marching , we arm ourself like going to a war... Hehehe..not that bad. Ok.. I do look like a soldier then.. with the big belt with my water bottle hanging on it and the big soldier bag, I looked more like a big turtle (so I have learnt my lesson-not to bring too much things when go camping!). After a great meal of breakfast, we were brought to our most highlighted activity- the jungle crossing ( or climbing). In our group, we were given only a compas and a bearing to follow. And off we go into the wild forest..with no steps or stairs . Yup..the natural forest! Luckily my group was the last group and there were more navies following us compared to other groups with only one navy.
This is when the torture started. Walking like a hunch back, I dive into the forest with my group mates. We were climbing from the beginning to end with only support from branches. The floor was so slippery as it rained heavily the day before and the night before. Only for the first half an hour I can fell the tireness inside me. There was not even a nicely levelled place that I can rest on! What made matter worst... we we in the wrong path for the first half an hour! But luckily we managed to turn back and go on the right track again..phew!All look the same in the forest. The mountain were higher and and more rough as we go on. It was almost like climbing a 90 degrees wall. And finally we reach to the top! Can you imagine how happy I was?! But no... we were not there yet! We have to get across the forest!
So, we began to slide down the mountain. I found a better way of getting down. That was sliding down among the branches and ferns just like in Sunway Lagoon but better coz it is free(ya..that was what the navies say :P). The navies were kind enough to made jokes to keep us going. They were really nice and helpful. I even scared one as he saw my pale face! Yes.. I really could hide my face then... I was sooooooooo tired! It was just like one more step and I will faint! But luckily I didn't and I managed to keep on.. if not, I guess I will made the headlines the next day about a girl lost in the forest.
It was really a torture then. My clothes were so dirty with the wet soil, scars from branches and ferns and thorns in my skin. There was no time to think then.. all that I know was to climb and climb and slide and slide. No more thought of leeches or even snakes as I tend to grab everything in order to support myself. And no thoughts of lunch.. and that worries me was the water!! The water is just like fuel. One drink can help me to survive for almost half an hour. It was then I really realised that water is SO important!
After climbing up and down across TWO mountains, some tar roads and across a smaller mountain, and sliding down on a almost 90 degrees three storey high slope... we reached our destination after more than 8 hours non-stop( ok..maybe 5 minute stop). So, I guess I can be in My own Guiness Book Record now. So, after that we cooked our own food ( we get to taste the navies' packed food-which is yummy)and then built our own camp. After a short session by our own Golden Key (yup.. Golden Key organized it).. it rained heavily again. The camp that I built with my friends were all flooded and we have to rebuild it again in the rain.. But the navies was kind that they helped us out then..
In freezing cold..... and mosquitoes... I didn't managed to sleep the whole night..... and not bathing the whole day...
The Third Day
"BANG!" The navies woke us up with a loud explosion at 3am. Shivering...we were brought to our next activity. I was so scared to know that we have to go into the forest one by one without a thing in the dark!! Oh my Gosh! How am I going to survive.. I was all wet..shivering in cold..no sleep... I almost 'died' the day before..and now they want me to go into the forest in dark without a thing??!!
Ok..it was a spy game.. Our mission is to go into the forest with the help of a rope.. and get our messege in the forest and pass it when we reach our base. And there will be the navies around..hiding and scaring you. Amazingly, as time goes on..I was even looking forward to go into the forest!! I was suddenly so awaken! So...there I was alone....my hands holding the rope so tight and using it to pull myself all the way in the forest.. ( I got kindda scare again then).. But I keep on running and even with my eyes shut! I guess I was so fast as I managed to catched up with my friend who went into the jungle earlier than me! ehehhe.. So, I regained my courage and even starting to enjoy everything!! YUP! I have never felt so lively since I arrive at the camp!
We reach a 'dead body'( clad in white cloth) and with our message on top...I am sure I will be scared if I were there alone..but thanks to Mockie..we managed to survive and made it with a smile on my face!!ehhehehe....i just love it and wanted to go in again!!
So, after going back to our camping site and cook our own breakfast.. we did some exercise with our aching legs. I barely can move then ..so I just simply mimic the exercise..sort of warm up actually... After packing our things up... we went to the beach for our next activity!! We went kayaking ! Yippie... kindda like a dragon boat actually. It was OK..at least all the activities after that was much much more better than the first two days!!
Then we were brought back to our hostel. With no time to clean up ( I did managed to change clothes anyway), we then were brought to visit the navy's largest ship (opss..again..i forgotten the name...hai) after lunch. It sure was a nice visit..but I was closing my eyes most of the times. I just can't get my eyes open!! How I wish there is a bed then...hmm..
And for the awakening part again!! Free-falling into the sea!! Yes!! We finally can clean ourself!!ehehhe..not really.. well, in that session, we learnt about how the life boat functions. So, we got the chance to experience the feeling of free falling from a bridge into the sea one by one with a life boey of course..:).. Really feel like suiside as I jump down into the sea with my eyes closed and asking when I will reach the sea. It was high! After falling into the sea..we were 'save' one by one into the life boat. I really like that session...coz I love sea!!:)
At the night, we have a dinner session with the Navies. Thanks to all of them again. :)
Final Day...
Guess what?! I really feel kindda sad on the last day. I will really miss all of the navies and those activities (but thinking back.. I prefer the first two days to be in my memory instead of repeating it again..). The last two acitities were the shooting and visit to the diving center.
Yes!! Once in my life time I got the chance to experience how to shoot!! Using the M16, we each got 15 LIFE bullets to shoot at our target. Feel like a Rambo !! Bang Bang Bang!! It was a great experience.
Finally, we arrived at the Diving Center. They showed us a demo and they were great! The diving center even have a underwater window panel. So, we watch the navies do their demo just like in the under water world.:).
Well, it was really a wonderful experience thinking back. I will miss all the navies... and my groupmates. Thanks to all.. And if you got the chance, I guess each one should try out at least once.

Enough is enough!! I was driving to work today and the view was terrible - grey brownishish.. visibility level is very low..everyone was driving slowly in the highway...even in my car with air cond, I sneezes and breath hardly.. and I wonder why the API is still less than 200! are we just bullshitting ourselves?

Malaysia have two season each year - Haze Days and non-Haze Days. For years we have been having these problem and each year is the same! Helloo Neighbour!! PLEASE WAKE UP! I wish I could set up a big fire and have the wind blow back to them.

Is it when 15 years later when the motality rate suddenly shot high up of ppl dying from lung cancer, all the uni professors then will be brought in to find out the causes and in the end only notice that...Oh...last 15years they have repeated haze problem..this is the side effect... IS IT ONLY THEN THEY WILL DO SOMETHING???

Perhaps if the cause is from the neighbour below us..someone will already treaten to block the water supply? Now?? We just shake hand with our 'Tak apa' attitude.. and just say...they need a few more years ???

Few more days to 9 months old... lil' jo started Standing up!!! she is in fact so proud of herself standing up! sometimes when we praise her for doing that...she will let go one hand.....then *happy happy* then let go the other!! ahahha..u know what happen next... *stump*

And magic happens..these few days when i tell her mommy show you flash cards....she is so exicted to even look at words and dots cards...and can even show me the correct answers for those!! hope she can maintain her interest in those cards... :)

Flash cards - I learnt my lesson....ppl...next time you got baby, perhaps it is a better idea to flash your baby dots/chinese words cards first... i shown my bee pictures first..and now, she will hardly want to see the dots and words cards!! sob sob...

I did not even have the opportunity to try their noodles corner, ais kacang, ice cream selections, satays !

I have to admit it! I am a kiasu mom...hohohoho :D

I was introduce to Shichida Method by my Sis-in-law...thanks to her I become more knowledgable on early child education and development. What to lose right? You will talk and play with your baby anyway...so why not incooperate their method in it ?

Lil Jo is only 6 month plus old now....i have been showing her flash cards since she was 2 months old... have to admit it that i had used the same flash cards for a while before i really get into serious mode of getting and doing new flash cards for her! So a bit regret of not doing it earlier ...* sob sob * (more kiasu now..hehe)..

Well...since I do not see her everyday...I can only do the method to her average 3 days per week... suppose according to Glenn Doman is everyday... oh ya...not to miss out Glenn Doman as well... :). So, I did not follow straightly to the SM and GD. Only replacing her cards once a week... :(... but I really love these words from Dr Glenn Doman in his How to Multiply Your Baby's Intelligence article/book :

" Most sets of instructions begin by saying that unless they are followed precisely, they won't work.

In contrast, it is almost safe to say that no matter how poorly you expose your baby to reading, encyclopedic knowledge or mathematics he is almost sure to learn more then he would if you hadn't done it; so this is one game which you will win to some degree no matter how badly you play it, you have to do it incredibly badly to produce no result. Lil' one have not show me 'real' feedback yet...but recently when i ask her eg : Bee...show mommy which is carrot (when i show her a card of carrot and vege)....i can see her eyes look at carrot.... or maybe I am just too sensitive... *hmpph*...

Well...not hoping she will become genious or superbly clever, just hope she will be more active, interested and more eager to learn and built up more knowledge as she grows up !..

As for now...thanks a lot to my Sis in law, some friends and some good sites for sharing the knowledge across! I am still learning and more more more to learn !

I finally own a House !

I finally can call myself a house owner (well...at least half of it! :) ). Finally after 3 years with one year delay, we get the keys of our house that we 'might' call home. Located at Bandar Saujana Putra, it is a totally new township by LBS.

In short, I love the house,environment and surrounding. With a small lake and another playground just within less then 5 minutes of walking distance. Imagine 2 small parks for me to choose ! Can imagine lil' jo happily playing there ! :) just hope she won't fall into the lake though! ops.. *touch wood* !!

But, being a new development, the developer prematurely deliver the property with no proper access... our so call Highway Interchange (yes, need to pay tol! ) from Elite highway has yet to be completed. So we are left with only one access now - like driving through the half desert-like place, passing through underground bridge with next to it is a big river (is it Sg Klang?), no road lights, 2 sharp 90 degrees turn (if you go there at nite any time you will go off the road) ...
Another thing i don't like is the address - Kuala Langat! where is that? hello ?
So we were there...checking our 1st stage of house defects - found 48 items! hmm..better then my previous encounter (not my house ok!) with Talam Property of 10 pages of defects...and Bukit Hitam development (of if not mistaken >60 items) .. or am i not careful enough this time ? hmmm..

Sightings... how many of us have actuals encounters with the paranormals sights ?? Often we heard stories of ghost in Malaysia highways, old schools,..houses... how many of us actually witness it?? Is it something true ? or is it just our imagination? or a blackspot of our eye sight or ourbrain? I would like to hear from you..

My father has his own story:
As a boy he was actively involve in boy scout...camping at places in Penang..riding bicycle from Penang to Alor Star...mountain hiking...etc..

There is this abondon bungalow (British bungalow...) half way on the track from Botanical Garden up to the top (is it link to Bukit Bendera ?? ) Like others abondon British bungalow..this one is also famous in the list of ghost stories and supernatural sightings.

So one day, my dad and some of his frends went hiking...and overnight at the bungalow... midnite.....just like the other stories he heard about the bungalow..he saw a figure...full in white.. it was so dark as there were no lights..

Being a down-to-fact kind of guy, my dad grab the oil lamp and run towards the figure! the figure even run away towards the door. Too bad the figure were so fast and got 'away'. But my dad manage to touch 'his' hand as the figure was going out through the door.

Seems like 'it' was a human. Till today he do not believe in all these supernatural stuffs..

But i have stories from other ppl as well.....fact or not a fact? we will never know...unless...... we encountered it ourself....... *silence*

My hubby purchase a new cheap handphone model recently for spare, with a one year warranty. He tested the phone by trying to call his handphone. It rang....so should be ok...

Being a spare hp, it was until 10 days later we found out that the other person on the other line could not hear our voice at all.

So when back to the shop. Shop owner open the casing and say the screw of the Hp has been opened. Warranty will not be valid. Saying as if it was our fault.What??!!

For what we open the screw when there is still 1 year warranty ? Steal the part and claim it is spoilt? This is a cheap handphone man! below RM 200 only!

Frustrated and cheated, he insist to put the hp there and ask them to get it fixed.

After rounds of communication, the owner insist :
1. This time , the hp will be fixed for free
2. One year warranty will be invalid - forever
3. She claimed she herself has personally check each hp when she got it from dealer for defect. (What does she means? Means we open the screw ourself lo - *DOINK!* ) :(

"LUCKY" this is only a cheap phone! What if we purchase a good one???

Last weekend...at a Thai Fair ... my @_@ spotted a bag shop. Tot of buying a sling bag so I could carry it myself when carrying bb Joey out next time! (Hubby have been carrying my handbag each time..hehe..pity him!)

1st mistake : I choose and analyse all the bags available until I finally found one. I look happy.
2nd mistake : Ask salesperson to get the bag for me. I even checked for defect.
3rd mistake : Satisfied, passed back the bag with a "I WILL BUY THIS" look printed on my face.

The wonderful Birth of My Darling Dear

this will be a long one...ignore this if you want! :)

My EDD was 24/1/2006..but dunno why i keep having the feelings that my darling will come on 12/1 throughout my pregnancy... maybe i like the date that's why i am thinking about that? but i have no special preference on the no 12! hmm..wonder wonder... but nope...my girl was one day earlier....(maybe she silap calculate the date kot! ehhehe)

well...i was already sleeping soundly while i notice my hubby just get in the bed not long before after watching his beloved WWE Wrestling. Then i got sudden diarrhea like pain ...i look at the clock..1 am..must be stomach ache ( i am the person who easily get stomach upset)..so go poo poo..but a bit alert thinking whether it is contraction or not... went back to sleep... diarrhea like pain again (but mainly focus on lower abdominal)... it was 1.20am..went to try to poo... more alert now!... went back to bed but unable to sleep..need to monitor myself...very much alert and awake...feeling high and happy thinking is tis it... and yup...every 20 mins the pain come back.. well...the pain is like when you have bad diarrhea and stomach upset...but dunno is it i am used to it ..i feel it is still much bearable. :).. pain lasted around 30 sec to 1 min each time...after that feel high back...

already 2 am ...dunno wanna wake my hubby up or not (he just fell asleep not long and snoring loudly - too tired!)..tried to push push hubby and told him got pain...wanna monitor more...he mumble mumble "pain ar"..."ok or not?".....zzzzz...hmm... so i monitor again...feeling very high and happy...eheh..yup..the pain is constent 15-20 minutes once... so decided to really wake my hubby up...already 2.30 am..

both of us undecided is it contraction...suspect it is...but no other sign and i am still feeling high..pain is still bearble...asking each other whether it is real or not...to go to the dedicated medical center which we planned earlier..or not.. or wait until my gynae clinic open at 9am and see him?...or go to the 24 hours clinic nearby to confirm?...ding dong ding dong

lucky...i let my husband figure out things which i am still feeling high and happy.. he called up the medical center and know there is general practitioner there...so we decided to go check there...at the medical center's clinic...

reach MC around 3.30 am...seems like there is emergency case there as well..the GP do not even want to check on me and ask me to be sent to Delivery room for checking as he know i am due next two weeks. Blur blur....feeling confused....still high..in between pains... walk up to the delivery wad (the nurse insist i sit in wheelchair..but i smile and say i will walk)..

once there..the nurses lay me down...strap me on some machine (forgot the name la!) to monitor my contraction and bb heartbeat...first time i hear my bb heartbeat..so fast so loud! Pains come interval 10-15 mins...in between pains feel high..still smile smile to hubby....excited.... pain stilll bearable though..but each time pain struck...really no mood to smile...just keep quite and relax...

but soon begin my worse nightmare! the STUPID nurse come in say ei..i can still smile..i am ok wor..she look at my machine reading...to my horror she say ok wor..though i can see clearly the graph went up each time my contraction hits..she even bring other ppl's chart and compare.....study the chart...study my chart...alamak! does she know how to use this??? in between heard her asking the other nurse of how is the reading bla bla....alamakkkk...really shitty! keep asking me few times ...are you having contractions? are you giving birth? BULL SHIT! if i know i no need come to check la!!! what i know is the pain come in regular timing like what i read so far it is contraction lo!! keep asking me how how how?? SHIT! I know how i won't go there liao! she checked me...i am 2cm dilated.

My husband was so damn frustrated with the nurse of her questions and keep insisting to see a doc....the nurse insist don't want to call the doc...too early in the morning...doc marah..bla bla! oh my god... I was too angry and frustrated and deep in me i wanna go to my gynae clinic!! (my gynae's clinic have delivery room ..but due to i want better facility i have decided earlier to go to tis medical center which my gynae say he will come to deliver me)..

Lucky my beloved hubby called up the gynae clinic...the midwife told him in this situation i should be in hospital and it is a sign of delivery...she called my gynae and informed my husband my gynae ask me to stay put there... i was already so frustrated and i told my hubby i want to go home and wait to go to my gynae's clinic... lucky my husband insist i stay there for observation....

another nurse came in after my husband complain to her that the nurse there don't know a thing.. i guess she is worried of us complaining (while the earlier nurse still mumble that i should go home. her reason - she see i can still smile..while normally other ppl will be screaming!) so this nurse insist i stay there for observation as well. can see her face specially worried when she saw my hubby calling up my gynae's clinic.

So....ignoring the two STUPID nurses...i go ahead with my hubby's wish..i stay on there and transfered to wad to rest.. the stupid first nurse ask my hubby to go home as it is a woman's wad though it is already 5 am...ask him if he wan can come back at 7am.. the wad i am in is just next door to the delivery room..alamak... in my head i just want peace..so i ask my hubby to go home and come back later.... shit..how am i going to deliver with these kind of nurses around... mood go downhill...

lucky with all the blurness and keep wondering is this contracting (ya...still wondering as the nurses cannot tell what is happening to me)... i manage to stay compose and peace.... tried to sleep but the pain keep waking me up every 10min.. around 6am..the pain is much stronger..i cannot lay on my back...i went out to the nurse counter (which is just outside my room) to ask the Stupid nurse (yes..her again) for a pillow..tot i will feel better with the pillow..could hardly drag myself to walk..but have to....

pain feeling more intense..could no longer lay on bed...so i decided to sit by my bedside..feel better this way...i heard my gynae called up...answered by the Stupid nurse (again!).. the stupid nurse say she can still walk around..no problem ma...alamak! since when i walk around?? i only walk from my room to her counter to ask a pillow! the journey for normal person is just the most 10 footsteps away! wat a relieve i feel when i was told my gynae will come to check on me in the morning ...ooo...i love my gynae...my saviour!

but 7am tak tahan liao..pain seems non stop..but still manage to send sms to my boss informing him i won't be in office that day. keep having urge to poo.. really body seem to painful to walk but the poo urge is unbearble..i went to toilet twice...notice blood stain liao and manage drag myself to my door and inform the nurse at the counter i saw blood...

ain't my luck change! at 7 am the nurses change shift. Everything seems like god's blessing soon after... wonderful nurses/midwife around me..muack muack muack..

i was already 8cm dilated at 7.15am... the nurse who check me look so worried... i wonder...

she faster rush in to my wad and ask me change my clothes to hospital clothes..she quickly hold me up and urcher me to the delivery room....oh my! i feel so bad now when walk...every moment i feel like i wanna poo urgently... rupa rupanya she told me the poo sensation is a sign i will deliver soon liao. everyone is moving so fast liao..seems like i am due anytime...they called my gynae... nurses coming in out to prepare me and things...

oh shit..my hubby still not here yet... i am having non stop pain now......but peaceful.still blur blur...whatever happen just let it be... instead of worrying to give birth..i worry my hubby cannot find me when he arrive at my wad (though the delivery room is just next door..hehe).. with hand holding on my handphone while laying on my delivery bed...manage to call my hubby and told him i am in delivery room.....cannot talk..no energy liao.....

god! dam happy when see my gynae coming into my room less then half an hour later around 8am..i even shout out loudly HELLO DOCTOR! give him a smile..ain't i relieve... he check me (gosh...feel like a chicken being stuffed up with all those herbs for baking) dunno what he is doing cos through..i just feel blur and everything like dreaming... *gosh* a lot of yellow water pop out...ooo...he broke my water bag...the water is warm...hmm..

the doc sit down...talking to me...say they should tell him earlier..then he can come earlier..i would deliver by now... i just listen to him..no energy to talk back...the pain has gone...hmm.. and my darling hubby came into the delivery room! happy happy...

in less then 5 mins..i began to feel the urge to push (very natural feeling)..know the bb is coming liao...i shouted to my gynae..i cannot tahan liao!.. wow...this pushing stage is the most difficult of all.. the urge to push was so intense...i just wanna grab on anything (dunno why..natural instinct it to grab on something to hold...i tot all this while it is just for my drama when show on tv..ehhehe)...

i found my hubby next to me and wanna grab his hand (as per tv normally do..haha)...my doc marah me for moving around...wuu wuuu..first time see he marah me...i am confused ma...of course move here move there la!...

lucky...my angel midwife/nurse arrive...Sister One Siew Yee (yaya! almost same name as me!!).. looking at my condition and my marah-ing gynae...she took over the whole thing.. she guide me to hold the handle under the leg stand (as fast as thunder i just grab on tightly!)...she ask my hubby to give me some water...another nurse bring him a mineral water with a straw...my hubby feed me a bit water...phew! really feel the power of plain water! it was the second time i feel the energy of how plain water can do to our body (first time was during my Navy camp few years back!)...

feeling very energized i am much ready! but still confused what to do...just wanna get her out of me!

Sis Ong was the best..as if she was in my condition...understanding how i feel at each steps..she guided me...i just follow...
Lesson learned :
1. Only push when there is the urge..when no...just relax..else u will waste up all ur energy
2. when the urge came, take deep big breath and push with all the energy until almost no more energy, faster take shorter but big breath and push..until the urge goes away...

Sis Ong told me normally first timer will take 1 hour of pushing....experience mom half an hour....wah...how disheartend i felt when hear 1 hour! i cant even bear another 5 minutes of the stong urge and i still need to do this for 1 hour??alamak! with that statement...i became motivated and tried to master the technique... and wala! in no time - she ask me to stop push until doc tell me to. huh? wat happened? ooo....bb head already out! haha...i was thinking....so fast?!..
The urge come very soon after and really tak tahan i have to push even my doc have not say push...i remember i shout out to them...i need to push now! (thinking back..lucky my bb umbilial cord is not around her neck...else something bad might happen to her) ...and wala! i saw a tiny human ..covered with white powdery-like thing..and a bit blood mucus.. she cries.....wa wa wa waaa

I was just stunned looking at her...COULD NOT believe it.. everything like blur blur...like a dream..and i have delivered my bb! :)

Yup - Yeoh Joo Yee.....my hubby gave her the name...base on the English name-Joey. She was delivered on 11/1/2006...slightly before 9am..:)

hubby took this pic with his phone camera minutes after bb was born. see the white powdery things on her skin... (lucky video cam broke down few days before..else he will be videoing me screaming in the delivery room! haha)

And I was still feeling so energized after the delivery....everything just happen so fast. I guess what you need to do it let everything happen naturally..not to worry too much and you will enjoy the whole process....:)

Good luck to all coming to be mummies! Thank you to my beloved hubby for being there with me and supporting me throughout the process...i tot you will faint in the delivery room...but you prove me wrong! muacks!

** I got to know from other nurses that the STUPID nurse is actually temporary for that night only from some other hospital (never go to the hospital if got to know where she is from!!). The few days in the hospital was just so sweet and nice....everyone was helpful and friendly. Thank you!

A Journey to Motherhood

haha! wanted to do this posting long time ago..but no time leh! gosh...bad in time management especially with a bb around... all i can do now is curi some time to blog from work! mauahahahha... hope boss no see this!!

What to say.....after one year of marriage....I found out I was pregnant! never imagine it! me??? huh??? pregnant?? what a sofisticated process and it is happening to me? wah!..how ar?.....

haha...husband never fully believe me..until we went to gynae and do an ultrascan....i could not even see a thing on the screen but doc pointed to a tiny dot ( i guess not more then 5 cent..cos i dun see it...for me..so many dots on the screen! haha) and confirmed my pregnancy..:).. i was still blur...but things start to spark when i was walking back to the car after the session with my hubby...i suddenly looked at his face..and i saw his eyes beaming ....so watery....sparkle.....the sparkle in his eyes!...from then on...i know this will be good! heeh.

well....my hubby found me a gynae which his colleague recommended...(yaya...so happy he did some research for me!) I really want my hubby to be involved in this whole thing....and he really did.... such a sweet husband... throughout my pregnancy..he never fail to fetch me and followup with me throughout my checkups... or any illness.. the journey was smooth...sweet.... fine....happy.... peace..... not to mention blur blur(usual me) ! haha

every month..the thing we look forward to is the ultrascan to see our bb... initially a dot...then a bigger round ...then a small "cricket-like" thing with a small heart beating..... then tiny human with big head and when you are lucky - she will show you few kicking actions or thumb sucking. I remember she kick directly to the ultrasound..so can see her foot's bones...reminds me of froggie's leg....haha....

subsequent ultrasounds....she is getting bigger and bigger....and soon cannot see her whole body in one screen... some weeks near due date, doc did not scan anymore......just press against my tummy to check the position....or i think he was doing that..:)

oh ya! yes.....she is a her! a girl...we will be having a bb girl! thinking of holding her...dressing her up....and really hope that we will be 'good frends'!..ya...hopefully......

Luck is on my side...the whole pregnancy went on smoothly though there are always bad things u hear from ppl...or u reading from articles... but i have a good gynae....he keep on scolding me each time i ask if something bad going to happen... i took his words through the pregnancy....

"Women are born with a body so ready to be pregnant and give birth....god make it ready even before you were borned... think about those times where there is no gynae....think about those places where there is no doc...ppl still manage to have babies...give birth.. if really there is so many complications in pregnancies..we will be extinct by now! in fact...you don't even need a gynae! it is a natural thing....we gynae is just to assist you to check on your progress...see everything is ok...no worries... don't read those things don't listen to what ppl say..just let it happen naturally....just enjoy your pregnancy"

er..or something like that..ehehhe..

I was so wonderful...looking at the belly.... growing bigger and bigger (especially after the 4th month)...and soon..you will be able to feel the movement...from small gassy like movement to big movement where u can actually feel her moving her hands (or legs)..turning her body.... and you can even see your belly popping up and down from her movement.... sometimes u can even see the elbow poking out...when u touch or massage it....it will go away....:)...it is the sweetest thing of all.. :)

Thank you very much to my beloved hubby, my Sister in law (who guide me on those things to buy and supplied me with most of the things - warmer, breast pump, stealizer, bb clothes,nappy and even sarong for confinement) , few of my friends that are pregnant at the same time which we share our journey and wondering of our beloved...and our families..

Next up - The birth of my darling girl......

Finally I am back again! After few months of Hybernation...i finally found another objective of blogging....

I am back! afresh! A new me! I am a MOM now!! phew! time flies!

Lots of time my frends tell me to start blogging about my pregnancy.....nah..that time i was too busy surfing the net for my fetus development and looking at other ppls' posting on the ultrascan pics of their bb..... what i will do is to imagine how my lil' one look like at that particular time..:)... and imagine how she looks like when she is born...:)

Have to admit it...i miss my pregnancy..my pregnant body...and seeing my tummy moving as the baby moves her body is the sweetest memory..

So the next few posting will be from the journey of my pregnancy to the birth and development of my lil beloved beautiful daughter.... muacks..

Woff woff! My name is Beauty...I am a Boxer. Pretty am I? True you are!

Yes...this is my beloved family dog....Beauty..the Boxer. She is a pure breed Boxer. My bro bought her around 5 years ago through searching on the Internet and found her mommy in seremban. Straightaway he and my dad went down to Seremban and bought her home...

I can still remember that day when i got back home my mom told me about the news. Frustrated I am because they went without me! But then, that night, they came back with a box...in the box......there is a lovely little brown puppy with the so innocent eyes ... I fell in love with her immediately!! she is the gem of our family.

Not more then a foot tall then...she can't even reach the top of our coffee table...she only sniff around with her head up to touch the side of the table.....
We brought her almost everywhere we went then...share with her our McDonald's Chicken at one occasion..ehhehe...

Yeah..she has been through a lot... she graduated from Dog Obidient Training .. we brought her to the annual Dogathon in UPM......walk walk every afternoon....from bitting everything she can set her eyes on to a charming dog now that understands what you tell and instruct her....

Now if she stands up on two back feet, she is almost 5 foot tall..... she loves to attract our attention....and pity her being bullied by our Burmese cat all the time!

We love her and will always do.
